Dr Anne Sumner is an experienced Family Physician who brings a broad spectrum of hard and soft skills, built over decades of practice. After graduating from the University of Cape Town, she spent ten years in government health services, including two and a half years in the former Ciskei, along with periods working in London and Canada. She went on to complete a Master’s degree in Family Medicine and a Diploma in Child Health, and taught medical students at the University of Cape Town for three years. Having practised in Hout Bay for many years, she brings deep clinical experience, warmth and a strong commitment to caring for individuals and families in the local community.

Dr Belinda Cohen is an experienced General Practitioner  with a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine. After completing a BSc at Stellenbosch University, she qualified in medicine at the University of Cape Town and later obtained a postgraduate qualification in palliative care.  She has spent many years working in public-sector family medicine and has also dedicated more than 20 years to part-time work at St Luke’s Hospice,  developing considerable expertise in oncology  symptom management, end-of-life care and the emotional support required by patients and their loved ones.  Her clinical interests include family dynamics, geriatrics, chronic conditions such as (but not limited to ) hypertension, diabetes and asthma, oncology and palliative care. Dr Cohen  brings a compassionate, thoughtful approach to caring for individuals and families.

Dr Harald Weber is an experienced General Practitioner with an extensive background in surgery, emergency medicine and community-based healthcare. He spent 12 years working in Surgery and Emergency at Victoria Hospital before moving into general practice in Hout Bay in 1998. Dr Weber joined Hout Bay Family Medical Centre in 2000 and has since developed broad clinical interests that include psychiatry, geriatrics, dermatology, diabetes and other chronic conditions, as well as minor surgical procedures and aesthetic medicine. He is also registered with the South African Maritime Safety Authority as a medical practitioner and brings decades of practical experience to caring for individuals and families in the Hout Bay community.

Zoelle graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2012 and takes a preventative, integrated approach to health, with a strong focus on long-term wellbeing and healthy ageing. She has particular interests in women’s health, gynaecology, exercise and musculoskeletal medicine, as well as mental health and the relationship between physical and emotional wellbeing. Drawing on her background in Himalayan meditation and yoga techniques, she values the role of movement, lifestyle and mind-body balance as part of good medical care.

Dr Brad Hudson is a general practitioner with a passion for medical aesthetics, skin health and preventative medicine. He takes a refined and considered approach to treatment, focusing on individualised, natural-looking outcomes while maintaining a strong foundation in general medicine. Dr Brad completed his medical studies abroad in 2019 before returning to South Africa, where he trained at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and the Institute for Maritime Medicine. These experiences exposed him to a broad spectrum of medicine, from routine general medical presentations to complex and advanced pathology, and shaped his approach to treating the patient as a whole.

His practice incorporates treatments including botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, collagen biostimulators and skin boosters. His broader interests include medical weight management, hair rejuvenation, prescription and injectable skin therapies, as well as minor procedures and general medical consultations.

Committed to continually developing his knowledge and clinical skills, Dr Brad is currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. He regularly participates in workshops, hands-on training, weekly mentorship sessions and seminars to remain up to date with evolving techniques, treatments and evidence within aesthetic and preventative medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr Brad enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors, with particular interests in hiking, swimming and CrossFit.

I was honoured to be named Dux of Michaelhouse in 1983 before completing my MBChB at the University of Cape Town in 1989. Following my internship, I spent two years working in the United Kingdom—primarily in respiratory medicine—and Canada. I subsequently returned to South Africa and established my own medical practice in Westville, KwaZulu-Natal, where I served the community for 35 years.

During this time, I acted as principal investigator for several clinical trials in the fields of asthma and allergy, areas that remain of particular interest to me. I also completed diplomas in Practice Management and Maritime and Submarine Medicine.

After relocating to Cape Town, I spent two years working in pharmacogenomics. I am now based at the Hout Bay Family Medical Centre, with a particular focus on allergy, asthma, longevity, wellness and weight management.

At this stage of my career, I value having the time to provide thoughtful, academically informed care tailored to each patient. I remain committed to expanding my knowledge and staying clinically relevant so that I can continue offering the highest possible standard of care.

Outside of medicine, my interests include painting, cycling and design.
